I also review vendor documents and have hands-on experience in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) abroad. Primary Responsibilities:
Create a 3D model for instrument stanchions, junction boxes, non-inline instrument equipment, cable tray, and cable tray support using Smart 3D.
Instrument 3D model review which includes hook-up check, capillary length check, instrument orientation, location accessibility, maintenance space, and installation space availability among others.
Can extract 3D to 2D data to be used in construction engineering drawings.
Can prepare instrument plot plan, instrument wiring layout, and instrument air piping, and tubing layout.
Prepare Nozzle Elevation Plan using equipment drawings, and process datasheets.
Create specifications of flow, temperature, pressure, and level instruments.
Review vendor documents for compliance with project requirements, and actively seeks discrepancy resolution.
Reviews Distributed Control System (DCS) and Emergency Shutdown System (ESD) graphics for Yokogawa DCS.
Review and check piping & instrumentation diagram (P&ID), process flow diagram (PFD), utility flow diagram (UFD), process datasheet, and equipment general arrangement drawing.
Performed Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) abroad as EPC representative, executing quality control inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, and issue non-conformance reports as necessary.
Populate SPI database for index, wiring loop, and datasheet module based on various engineering documents.
Generate and modify update loop drawings in SPI; create and manage the loop drawing templates, and create symbols and macros in the enhanced loop.
Act as SPI administrator to manage and audit the SPI database, import and export of data, manage instrument index and user-defined fields, manages logins, access rights and troubleshooting.,
