Primary Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Bill of Quantity/Bill of Materials (BM/BQ).
• Conceptualization of Cable routes, Junction box location and Equipment tray inside Building.

Primary Responsibilities (as Furnace and Combustion Engineer):

• Responsible for vendor document review pertaining to Instrument design of Mechanical Packages such as blowers, incinerators, electrical heaters, chemical injection packages, hydraulic turbine generators, and pumps (centrifugal, cryogenic, submersible and others).
• Coordination with the Mechanical Group for alignment of instrumentation design, scope of work, and material supply between vendor and contractor.
• Instrument datasheet review for mechanical packages, ensuring field device design as per project specification.
• Design verification of instrument installation on Vendor’s Wiring Diagram, General Arrangement drawing and 3D model.
• I/O list, Cause & Effect Diagram, Control Narrative and Logic Diagram review for package operational Control systems design.

• Management of existing DCS graphics update and system I/O addition/modification.

• Attends Hazop Study to address deviated design and identify corrective solution to minimize potential risks.
• Procurement of required materials, securing of special tools and booking of Equipment necessary for Plant Shutdown.
• Coordination with Client, Vendors and Subcontractor for Planning and Scheduling of Warranty Shutdown.
• Closing all after Plant Operation punch list and defects.

 
 

Field Engineer

• LNG Petronas Train 9 Project Petronas MLNG, Bintulu, Malaysia

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervised installation of Cabinets in the Field Auxiliary Room and monitor preservation of Control System Cabinets during construction.
• Facilitate Site Acceptance Test (SAT) of Fire and Gas (FGS) and Instrument Protective System (IPS) as main Person-in-charge.
• Support Loop Check team as part of trouble shooting team.
• Represent as Lead man for dry function check of Burner Management System (BMS), FGS and IPS.
• Assisted in pre-commissioning works and commissioning of compressors package and other package systems.
• As-Built documentation for Cause-and-Effect Matrix and IPF Narratives.

• Facilitate the Integration Testing of Fire and Gas/Instrumented Protective System to Distributed Control System.
